Our council crawfish boil will be on Sunday, May 27. We will eat at approximately 3:00pm. The hall will open at 2:30pm.
This is for members and their families. One order of crawfish (approximately 5 to 7 pounds) will cost $7.00. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs for those who do not want crawfish. They will be $1.25 each. We will furnish drinks. You must order and send a check no later than May 23.

If you need more information, you can call Anthony at 924-7194 (W). We will not take any orders after May 23 and no tickets will be sold at the door.

Grand Knight’s Message (May 2012)

Brother Knights: I hope this finds you and your families having had a safe and enjoyable Easter holiday, comforted in the knowledge that Christ overcame death and in doing so, guaranteed Eternal life for each of us. The month of May also brings us nearly to the end of our fraternal year, wrapping up with the 107th Annual State Convention the first weekend of May (more on that to follow). At this time, one might ask oneself “Have I given enough of myself in service to my fellow man?” I dare say that just about all of us would honestly answer “No”. One way of service is through the works which your Knights of Columbus council undertakes. I challenge each of you, find some time and get involved; the rewards are two-fold: the betterment of the community at-large, and the personal satisfaction of helping those in need.
NOTE – I am, on behalf of all members of our council, appealing to those Brother Knights who have yet to pay their yearly dues. Our membership numbers are strong (in excess of 300) and it is this strength that is used by both Supreme and the State Council in assessing the council to run their operations. When a member is delinquent in his dues, it forces the council through its members to subsidize that delinquent member. This is NOT the type of charity that is one of the core principles of our Order. Please, be considerate of your Brother Knights and our council and take care of this important financial matter.
